2014 Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir
ALC 13.7% Cases Produced: 75
The wine presents aromas of vanilla and cherry-cola with hints of cedar and Indian spices. The mouthfeel has balanced acidity complemented by earthy characteristics and fine tannins. A true French cheese companion, this wine has a long cellaring potential.
The home of Domaine Divio, selected by winemaker Bruno Corneaux as he believes it offers the best terroir from which to make the perfect Pinot Noir. From the air it appears as an island that has broken off from surrounding landmasses. Willakenzie marine sedimentary soil is relatively uniform throughout the AVA and the lack of underground water limits vigorous vine growth.
