2017 Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir
ALC 14.3% Cases Produced: 100
Generous dark cassis, blueberries, plum and bacon combination on the nose. The mouthfeel is delicate yet powerful – loaded with complex flavors of red fruit and floral notes. Finishes on sweet and spicy tannins.
The Eola-Amity Hills AVA lies in the heart of the Van Duzer Corridor where cool ocean winds gust through the valley. The constant onslaught of cold air forces the vines to expend concentrated efforts on producing their fruit; resulting in wines with enhanced aromatics, mouth-watering acidity and a lush finish.
94 Points – Wine Enthusiast
(Cellar Selection) “This is a spicy, aromatic wine that offers bold tones of cherry and cassis, along with a touch of charred wood. It spent 11 months in three-quarters new French oak, and has power to spare. The finish brings an accent of dark chocolate to wrap it all up. Drink 2020—2030.” – Paul Gregutt
