Wine Info

THE WINE

The nose expresses classic Ribbon Ridge AVA aromatics of fresh cherry blossoms, wet stone, cassis and pitted cherries. Flavors of orange and grapefruit zest are the primary accents on the palate, followed by blackberry, peppery fresh berries, fine-grained tannins and a lofty finish of chocolate-dipped strawberries.

THE AVA

The home of Domaine Divio, selected by winemaker Bruno Corneaux as he believes it offers the best terroir from which to make the perfect Pinot Noir. From the air it appears as an island that has broken off from surrounding landmasses. Willakenzie marine sedimentary soil is relatively uniform throughout the AVA and the lack of underground water limits vigorous vine growth.
