Wine Info
THE WINE
The nose is awash with aromas of sweet herbs, cola, florals, vanilla, persimmon, roasted hazelnuts and mocha. Lively, soft and balanced on the palate, it conveys a myriad of blue fruit characters, balanced by a sweet finish laced with silky tannins.
THE AVA
The home of Domaine Divio, selected by winemaker Bruno Corneaux as he believes it offers the best terroir from which to make the perfect Pinot Noir. From the air it appears as an island that has broken off from surrounding landmasses. Willakenzie marine sedimentary soil is relatively uniform throughout the AVA and the lack of underground water limits vigorous vine growth
