THE WINE

The nose is upfront with a flinty, mineral character followed by notes of honeyed citrus, cedar and spiced pear. The palate is lush with lemon curd, baked apple, spun sugar and fresh peach. The finish is long and vibrant with bright notes of cedar and vanilla.

THE AVA

Ribbon Ridge AVA is the home of Domaine Divio, selected by winemaker Bruno Corneaux as he believes it offers the best terroir from which to make the perfect Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. From the air it appears as an island that has broken off from surrounding landmasses. Willakenzie marine sedimentary soil is relatively uniform throughout the AVA and the lack of underground water limits vigorous vine growth.
