Wine Info
THE WINE
The appearance is a rich red color with dark hues. The nose is exuberant with thyme, cedar, cranberry, sweet leather, sage, violets, spicy rose and peppercorn. The palate entry sings with sweet licorice, juicy plums and dark chocolate all balanced on silky textured tannins with a vibrant finish of cranberry and redcurrant.
THE AVA
This is where Willamette Valley Pinot Noir all began. The first vines were planted in 1965 and Oregon has never looked back. Known for its volcanic soils, the Red Hills of Dundee produce wines bursting with red cherries, raspberries and a telltale spicy minerality gifted by the soil from the most densely planted area in the state.
