THE WINE

The nose is enticing with tropical vanilla, pineapple and freshly-baked apple pie. The mouthfeel is round and creamy with initial accents of caramel crème brûlée, evolving into fleshy peach and tangerine flavors and a lively finish of citrus.

THE AVA

Ribbon Ridge AVA is the home of Domaine Divio, selected by winemaker Bruno Corneaux as he believes it offers the best terroir from which to make the perfect Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. From the air it appears as an island that has broken off from surrounding landmasses. Willakenzie marine sedimentary soil is relatively uniform throughout the AVA and the lack of underground water limits vigorous vine growth.
