Wine Info
THE WINE
Light ruby color. Red fruit, cherry cola, and sweet raspberry cotton candy invite on the nose. Vibrant upfront, the palate is juicy with succulent red fruit notes and soft violet licorice. The mouthfeel is lingering and finishes with silky sweet tannins.
THE AVA
Nestled in the weather shadow of the Coast Range mountains, vineyards in the McMinnville AVA benefit from longer ripening periods and the resulting wines show beautiful purity of fruit. Predominantly marine sedimentary soils are interrupted with scatterings of basalt which make not only vineyard selection, but block selection, an important task for a winemaker.
