THE WINE
Flinty orange peel on the nose, interlaced with crème brûlée, lemon curd, white pineapple and orange blossom. The palate is vibrant with a strong sense of purity. Flavors of toasty and creamy citrus form the midpalate, with meyer lemon and mouthwatering acidity rounding out the lengthy finish.
THE AVA
Ribbon Ridge AVA is the home of Domaine Divio, selected by winemaker Bruno Corneaux as he believes it offers the best terroir from which to make the perfect Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. From the air it appears as an island that has broken off from surrounding landmasses. Willakenzie marine sedimentary soil is relatively uniform throughout the AVA and the lack of underground water limits vigorous vine growth.
