THE WINE
The nose elicits lively notes of mixed red fruits, strawberries, spicy roses, lilac and violets. The palate is bright and fruity and finished with crunchy cherry notes.
THE AVA
Ribbon Ridge AVA is the home of Domaine Divio, selected by winemaker Bruno Corneaux as he believes it offers the best terroir from which to make the perfect Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. From the air it appears as an island that has broken off from surrounding landmasses. Willakenzie marine sedimentary soil is relatively uniform throughout the AVA and the lack of underground water limits vigorous vine growth.
